Overview

Insurance fraud, in its many forms, steals almost $900 a year from every policyholder. IMACC, and its growing national network of over 250 contractors believe insurance fraud can be virtually eliminated through the ethical conduct and TRANSPARENCY of well documented processes.

Insurance Fraud, in any of its forms can only be stopped by making all transactions both transparent and properly recorded and documented in near real time. Referrals must be conveyed through a third party to maintain an arm’s-length relationship between the adjuster and restoration contractor. All interactions between the adjuster and contractor relative to the scope and cost of work to be done must be well documented and made available for supervisory and administrative review. All transactions must also be open to independent verification.
